Deyovaisio Zeefuik is moving from Hertha BSC to Blackburn Rovers in the second English division. The loan deal, initially planned until the end of the season, can be converted into a permanent position by the Rovers via a purchase option. Thus, the Dutchman swaps the fight against relegation for the fight for promotion. The ad continues “In the past few days, Deyo has had the opportunity to move to England. He would like to use this chance for more playing time and further development. We have now reached an agreement with Blackburn that suits everyone and we wish him every success in his future role,” explains Hertha’s sporting director Fredi Bobic. The 23-year-old came to the old lady from FC Groningen in the summer of 2020 for four million euros and with great expectations. In his year and a half in the capital, the right-footed man was never able to establish himself in the long term. In the current season, Zeefuik has been used twelve times, in total he has made 34 competitive appearances in the Hertha jersey.
