A Netflix thriller has proved a huge hit with fans who have binged watched the whole series in a day.
Pact Of Silence was released on the streaming platform last month and viewers have taken to X – formerly known as Twitter – to praise the show for its gripping plot twists.
The series, directed by Carlos Villegas Rosales and written by José Vicente Spataro, follows the story of Brenda Rey.
Camila Valero portrays the lead character, who is a social media influencer that was abandoned at birth by her mother and grew up homeless and was sexually abused.
The synopsis reads: ‘When she was an infant, four private-school kids left Brenda Ray in the middle of the woods, in a shack.
‘Brenda grew up homeless and was sexually abused, but through it all, she was determined to crawl her way out of poverty and make a name for herself.
‘Now she’s a powerful social media influencer with connections and resources people only dream of.
‘But instead of luxuriating in her riches and success, Brenda wants revenge on the women who conspired to hide her birth.
‘With the help of her manager, Alex, she’s determined to find every single one of them, including the headmistress who enabled it all.’
The cast also includes Adriana Louvier, Marimar Vega, and singer Litzy.
Pact of Silence takes place in Mexico. It was filmed in Guerrero, Mexico City, Soledad de Doblado and Veracruz.

And if Pact Of Silence fans are on the hunt for another thriller to watch, Netflix announced the film adaptation of Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once will be released in January.
Michelle Keegan, 36, will take on the role of Maya Stern, a widower who is trying to come to terms with the brutal murder of her husband, Joe (Richard Armitage).
Netflix released the first stills from the show on Thursday.
The story will follow a grieving Maya as she tries to unwrap the mystery of her husband, as after installing a nanny-cam to watch her daughter, she sees Joe in the house.
Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce (Adeel Akhtar) leads the homicide investigation into Joe’s death while grappling with secrets of his own.
Meanwhile, Maya’s niece and nephew, Abby and Daniel, are trying to find the truth about their mother’s murder, several months earlier.
Joanna Lumley plays Judith Burkett, Joe’s protective mother.
