The sequel to the cinema hit “Dune” is scheduled to hit the cinemas at the end of 2023. The original cast includes the likes of Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista and Javier Bardem alongside Chalamet. Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel “Der Wüstenplanet” (The Desert Planet) was filmed with a huge budget and a star cast. The focus is on the desert planet Arrakis with the valuable substance Spice, for which good and evil forces fight. The 2021 film grossed nearly $400 million worldwide.
