Culture blooms again in Berneck in May

[ad_1]

Cultural organizers have been able to breathe again since February 17th. The Federal Council has lifted all corona protection measures and restrictions on cultural events. The May blossoms from Berne are now allowed to unfold their beauty unhindered. A week ago, the board of directors of the Kulturforum, headed by President Beda Germann, resumed its preparations for the Berneck Culture Month and got to grips with the detailed work.

Jazz, Balkan music or a shadow play

The program includes a whole series of entertaining and high-quality events from groovy jazz with Peter Lenzin and No Limits to Balkan music with the Eastern Quartet and Latin American soundscapes with Lariba. The varied program also includes choral singing with the first-class chamber choir Vocale Neuburg from Vorarlberg and a journey from the old Engadine to the present with the Nogler chapel. The highlights are certainly the concert dulcimer meets boogie-woogie with Nicolas Senn and Elias Bernet as well as the internationally renowned shadow play show Moving Shadows with The Mobilés, who stage an amazingly fast-paced shadow play with their bodies on May 15 in the multi-purpose hall in a wonderfully acrobatic manner. The concert series will open on May 1st at 5 p.m. in the Evangelical Church in cooperation with the Rheintal Society for Music and Literature with a homage to Clara Schumann by Samuel Zünd, tenor, and the Trio Artemis. From April 29th to June 26th, eight artists and horticultural teams will also be showing eight art gardens in Berneck on the theme “Paradise is taking place”.
