Convocation 2k18 at ISBR Business School



International School of Business and Research (ISBR) Business School, Electronic City, Bangalore, organized their Annual Convocation on June 3, 2018, at the Campus. The esteemed guests for the event, Shri.A. S. Kiran Kumar, Vikram Sarabhai Professor and former Chairman Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) delivered the convocation address. The convocation speech was delivered by Dr. N. Muthukumar, Chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry, Karnataka and Shri. Raghunandan C. B. President, Electronics City Industries Association & Vice President- Wipro Technologies. Dr.K S Anandram, Director of ISBR Business School welcomed the gathering. Dean Dr.C Manohar set the theme of convocation and also delivered the Annual Report of ISBR 2017-2018. The key highlights of the Report included- Recognition Awards by CII and AICTE, Best Upcoming Business School Award, Best Social Media Integration Award, ISBR being a Research Centre for Ph.D., Students Introduction to PMP program to develop personality skills, Introduction of CILT Certification Course in Logistics and Transportation, Launch of the prestigious ISBR TEDX Program, Launch of Skill Capital 2018- an initiative to provide skill-based internship with over 60 + companies participating in the event, as part of CSR ‘Abhinandana’ awards were given off to Women Achievers and the Launch of Law College at its New Campus along with the UG Courses. The event also served as a platform for the launch of “Gems of ISBR” book. Overall, 175 students were awarded their graduation certificates whereas 49 students were awarded gold medals for their meritorious performance in different areas such as Academics, International Relations, Best Transformation, Best Team Player, Leadership and Creativity, Outstanding Service, Discipline and Special Recognition. Shri Manish Kothari, Managing Director of ISBR group of Institutions, congratulated the graduating students, appreciating their efforts and dedication towards their long-term goals and wished them a prosperous future. He also mentioned the key findings of ASSOCHAM, according to which, out of the graduating MBA students only seven percent are employable, while the remaining 93 percent unemployable due to lack of hands-on train ...
